The far & fabled land of looms, a rural town in Nashik district, Malegaon, experienced the intellectual awakening by the visionary freedom fighter when he established educational institution for the masses including a senior college. Crystallization of his idealistic vision & the ceaseless endeavors of his worthy successor, Late ShriVyankatraojiHiray continued the mission of marching ahead with the social objectives. As years advanced, the pragmatic and progressive thinking, the zeal and enthusiasm of Smt. PushpataiHiray, her son Shri. PrashantHiray, General Secretary have helped the string of institutes progress by leap and bounds. Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir today is catering to the requirements of the student fraternity across India in various professional disciplines. The baton has passed to Shri. ApoorvaHiray, Co-ordinator of Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir to implement a plethora of key assignments in tune with the current dynamic competitive environment in the education industry.Established in 1991, the institution has developed into a premier Institute of Dentistry. The college is situated on the banks of the river Godavari, flowing through Lord Ramchandra’s holy land of Panchavati.
