About Institution

Kristu Jyoti College of Management & Technology, Chethipuzha, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) that offers post graduate programme in Computer Application was started in the year 2002. Two more new courses, M. Sc Bioinformatics and B. Com with Computer Application were started in the year 2004. Permission was accorded by MG University and Govt. of Kerala to offer BBA and BCA courses from 2010,B Com (Finance and Taxation) and M Com (Finance) from 2011 and B.Sc(Psychology) from 2014 onwards.

Vision

Inspired by the perennial response to the age-old aspiration of the Rishis of our Arsha Bharata expressed in the Upanishadic prayer; "Thamasoma Jyothirgamaya", Kristu Jyoti College has taken "Lighted for Life" as its motto. The attainment of true knowledge makes one enlightened so that one can lead oneself and others in the path of truth and grow in to a full-blown person. Placid Vidya Vihar is committed to its motto, " Nurturing for wholeness"

Mission

As a CMI Educational Institution, the College regards education as integral to the formation of the human person for the fulfillment of individual and social responsibilities. The College aims at forming leaders who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy and socially acceptable, who are open to growth and will champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace. We also aim at creating a just human society where diginity of the human person is upheld, where unjust social structures are challenged, where our cultural heritable f ahimsa, religious harmony and national integration is cherished, where the poor and the downtrodden are specially taken care of.
