Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities (but not limited to): 

Controlling the purchase and supply of all procured items & services. 

Follow up & maintain Procurement Schedule.

Negotiating price and terms of products with suppliers. 

Managing, Developing & Improving the purchasing team. 

Benchmarking performance of the supply chain. 

Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery and contracts. 

Adhering to all company policies with particular regard to accounting procedures. 

Administering the online purchasing systems. 

Reviewing all contracts/agreements to achieve best price/best quality/Right time delivery purchasing. 

Giving sourcing input to colleagues to aid business planning & development. 

Making recommendations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues. 

Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, good ordered received. 

Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships. 

Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance.

Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance. 

Controlling the purchasing budget. 

Developing sourcing strategies. 

Preparing high quality tender documentation. 

Regularly contracting suppliers to renegotiate prices.

Experience, Skills, Abilities -

Experience as Procurement Engineer M&E with Civil Engineering Contracting companies.

Ability to read and understand construction plans.

Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with subcontractors, suppliers and clients. 

Excellent computer skills and the willingness to learn company created software for managing projects. 

Desirable: Experience of industrial project.

Education-

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical, Mechanical

PG:Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required

Doctorate:Any Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required
