About Institution

Him Academy Public School (HAPS) is the culmination of the vision of a renowned educationist and acclaimed author Prof. R. C. Lakhanpal who laid its foundation on May 1, 1998. It has, since then, made tremendous progress in achieving excellence in scholastic and co-scholastic fields and has many achievements and awards to its credit. Within very short span the school has registered its presence and is ranked the best among the top schools of Himachal Pradesh. This is an English medium Co-educational school imparting education from 4th to 10+2 classes.From session(2015-2016) 10+1 commerce has also been introduced in the school in addition to 10+1 Medical and Non-Medical.HAPS is known for academic excellence, work culture and discipline.
The campus is located at Vikasnagar, Hamirpur, 5 kilometer away from Hamirpur bus stand, on Hamirpur - Nadaun national high way. The campus is surrounded by lush green ambience of pine trees soothing it with constant murmuring sound. The school has well equipped laboratories, a well stacked computerized library, sports facilities and NSS unit.
