GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE SRISAILAM PROJECT is established in 1993 vicinity of the world famous holy temple of SRISAILAM in the sprawling campus of 10.5 acres with a panoramic and lusty pleasant forest view. The college stands as a testimony to the wisdom and foresight of great visionaries Late Sri KOTLA VIJAYA BHASKARA REDDY, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and with the financial support of APGENCO, Prof. CHANNA REDDY, to cater the educational needs and aspirations of the people of Nallamala area. With a great wisdom, the founders of this college have rightly coined the motto Wisdom lies in proper perspective for it. The college has developed leaps and bounds excellently from strength to strength over the past twenty years, as a premier institute of higher learning under the able and committed leadership of successive principals starting from B.V SUBBA REDDY to the present principal.
