Mr. Paul Abraham is the Chief Operating Officer (COO), at IndusInd Bank and is responsible for all the Shared Services and Support functions including Operations, IT, Finance and Corporate Services of the Bank. He is part of a team of senior Bankers who took over the Management of IndusInd in 2008 and turned around the underperforming institution.
Mr. Abraham has over 30 years of work experience. He joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in January 1993 and was associated with the Bank in various capacities, both in India and overseas. Before joining IndusInd Bank, Mr. Abraham held the position of Managing Director, ABN AMRO Central Enterprise Services (ACES), for about 3 years. He has worked in the Middle East and South Asia having responsibilities for Sales and Operations across the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Southern CIS regions.
Mr. Abraham started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank (now Standard Chartered Bank), way back in 1982. His strength lies in establishing and managing complex businesses to deliver aggressive results by managing the internal as well as external business environment.
Mr. Abraham has a Post Graduate Degree in Business Management from IIM Ahmedabad and is an Economics Graduate from the St Stephens College in Delhi.
