The Women Safety Cell of the institute had organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Safety of North East Community’ on February 12, 2015 at the institute’s auditorium. The objective of the lecture was to sensitize the students and faculty members about the North East Culture which would help in ensuring safety of North East Community. The Resource Person for the lecture was Prof (Dr) T. Nongbri, Professor, Centre for the Study of Social Systems, Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU).
