Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Education Trust is a leading Education Trust in Bangalore with a mission to provide a value based education not only to those young minds looking to make it big in the Corporate sector, but also to entepreneurs, Small Scale Industrialists and those working in the Public Sector Industry and Services.
Dr. Ambedkar First Grade College is run by Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Education Trust. This institution was started by late Sri.D.BASHKARAN, Ex-Deputy Mayor in the year 1978 in the name of Dr. Ambedkar, the champion of the downtrodden, to impart higher education particularly to the downtrodden and weaker sections of the Society.
The College has developed a lot in various fields, since its inception. Within a span of 30 years, over twenty thousand students have already availed the benefit of getting education from this institution. The College at present offers Pre-University, Degree Courses In Arts, Science, Commerce and Management Studies.
The Management has ventured into Management Studies from the academic year 1993-94 as Department of management Studies with a vision to provide quality professional education for aspiring young boys and girls. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies harnesses the power of technology, innovation and excellent human resources to provide it’s students with world class education programmes which are affordable, imaginative and relevant to the Indian Education.
