Aruljothi Educational Trust

Thavathiru Sathish Adigalar is also established  Aruljothi Educational Trust. In the year 2002 the trust started Nursery and Primary School called Aruljothi Gurukula Padasalai at Light House Kuppam in the Pazhaverkadu Area in Ponneri Taluk  near Chennai city. The entire village is engaged in fishing which is the only source of their livelyhood. In the beginning only 20 children are joined  in this school and now more than 500 students are studying upto 8th Std. 

The Salient Features of the School are as follows:

*Everyday free food is being given to all the students.

*Free books and Note books are issued to all the students.

*Every year free Uniforms is issued.

*All the student are provided free transport facility.

All the students are being taught  in English medium under Matriculation syllabus. Apart from the usual syllabus the following subjects are taught to the students. 

*Agriculture 

*Irregation 

*Astronomy 

*Environment  

*Tree Planting 

*Natural Medicine 

*Computer 

*Teacher Training  

*General Knowledge. 

The student are free to choose  their own subjects. Experts in this subjects are often invited to give lectures. The government is also recognized this school.
