About Akaltara Education Trust :

Ours is a pioneer institution engaged in the field of education, established in the year of 1954 with a aim to provide the quality education to the students of the area specially to the students who cannot go out due to financial crunch. At the time when this institute was established there was no high school in the surrounding area. The institution was established with a donation of a very little amount of Rs 80/ only. At the time of establishment some renowned persons of the area like Pt. Rambharose shukla ,shri Sitaram bagaria and shri Babulal Lata started the honorary teacher ship in the school managed by the trust. The school being managed by the trust was named as AKALTARA HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL which was changed as RAJENDRA KUMAR SINGH HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL AKALTARA as a tribute to the founder president and main donor of trust Late Shri Rajendra Kumar Singh.

Mission:

Our aim is to provide the quality education to the students and we are doing that as a result of which only not a single case of copying could be registered in last 58 years and the students of the school has proved that they are best in every field no of times the students have came in to merit of the board. Just for our mission to serve the people through education we have opened a primary school both in Hindi and English medium and a play school named as SHISHU VIHAR PLAY SCHOOL to develop the hobby in the children’s to go to the school.

Akaltara Education Trust Achievements:

From the date of foundation the Akaltara Education Trust has always been recognized as a well managed institution in the field of services of people of area not only in field of education but in other fields also.
The institution has worked in the field of cultural development, providing health facilities and development of awareness in different fields in collebration with other societies like Manav Kalyan Samiti, Red Cross Soceity , Dr Indrajeet Singh Smriti Nyas, Utkarsh etc.
No of times the students of the schools managed by the trust have came forward for collection of fund for donation to the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Relief Fund for help of the people suffering from natural calamity.
Recognizing all these activities the Trust was awarded with the prestigious AKHIL BHARTIYA MAHARAJA AGRASEN SAMMAN 2007 by the Govt of Chhatisgarh the memento along with a cash prise of Rs 2,00,000/ only was given to the trust on 5th Nov 2007.
In Raipur the prise was collected by the president of the trust Shri Dhirendra Kumar Singh with honorable Shri L.K.Advani the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha.
At the district level also the prise for outstanding services of the trust was given to the trust which was collected by the secretary of trust Shri Ishwar Khandeliya in the program organized at Janjgir from Smt.Karuna Shukla M P Janjgir loksabha.
