Indian Educational systems has a lot of fundamental flaws and that needs to be corrected as soon as possible.

Some of the reasons why we are not able to succeed are
1. Spoon-feeding children for ever - Parroting
2. Keeping children in dark and not letting them to explore the real world - Text book based studies
3. Parents too focused only on the academics and failing to recognize the child's actual skill and area of interest
4. Teachers lacking the real quality to understand the skills of the children
5. Children going through a lot of assessments, tests and exams start hating studies

To summarize, the reason for failure is not focusing on the child's actual area of interest. In one of Shiv Kera's stories this fact is clearly explained

A rabbit, fish, eagle, squirrel and a retarded eel joined a school. The school wanted these animals to learn all the subjects. The subjects were

1. Burrowing
2. Flying
3. Swimming
4. Climbing

Rabbit scored A grade in burrowing but failed in flying and swimming. It tried to climb a tree and fell down and broke its jaw. In the next exam, it failed in burrowing also as it had a broken Jaw

Fish passed in swimming but failed to attend the other subjects as it was not able to come out of water

Squirrel passed in climbing but failed in other subjects.

Eagle passed in flying but broke its beak while trying to burrow

The retarded eel somehow managed to swim, fly and climb but never did any of these professionally and got C grade in all subjects. The school announced the eel as the top rank holder as it passed in all subjects.

Such is our educational system. Everyone studies everything and in due course of time they start forgetting their specializations..
