MHRD, IITs, and IISc Bangalore have joined together to introduce an online course NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning). Under this course, they provide 24 new online certification courses on various engineering topics. The main objective of the NPTEL programme is to enhance the quality of engineering education in the country by developing curriculum-based video and web courses.
