Hi friends,

Let me give you a simple tip on maths simple interest and compound interest. As public examinations are getting near an nearer to you, it would be useful..

When you go for big sums in S.I just keep the principal amount to whole numbers (say 100, 1000 etc...) when it is given like 120 , 170 etc....

For C.I , try the simple interest, and add + 100 or +1000 depending on your principal amount.

You will get the nearest answer easily.Just make your answer as a a whole number. It applies only you have less time.Else, you can follow the regular steps..

All the Best...
