About Institution

'Citadel' - 'A castle of knowledge' - a name deeply embedded in the educational map of Southern Kerala. Our Royal School is surrounded by God's /Almighty's grace. Citadel Residential School is Co-educational institution, managed by the Catholic Diocese of Kanjirapally. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) , and follows the curriculum of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).The school is located in the midst of peaceful and natural environment at Ettichuvadu, Ranni in Pathanamthitta District.Here learning is done in a congenial environment. Here each child receives an Education which is skill based and develops his critical and logical thinking. The learners are engineered by dynamic people who are fervent instructors of wisdom and knowledge. With us every child is trained to build an irrevocable conviction about right and wrong and evolves as a unique individual capable of taking stock of each situation, forming correct decisions, without losing right of the societal values, thereby each child becomes a responsible citizen in the family, society and nation at large. At Citadel, each learner is helped to lead an exemplary life, a life enriched with not only wisdom, but also admirable values. Vision

Citadel realize that change is a 'condition of life'. It believes, that one of its responsibilities is to help each student to develop the coping strategies, tools and skills required to change wherever or whenever it may occur. It also believes that change within the campus must be well considered, systematic and based on the long range plans, to assist this vision apart from social, ethical values, to assist this vision. Apart from social, ethical values, they will be trained to inculcate the importance of biblical maxim; 'HAPPY IS THE MAN WHO FINDS WISDOM'

Mission

Our vision is to develop young well natured pupil with active and creative minds, a sense of understanding, compassion for others, and the courage to act on their belief,to guide students in understanding the concepts of peaceful co-existence and tolerance regardless of race, creed, culture and colour to help students realize and appreciate the cultural heritage of their own country and to respect the cultures and emotional feelings of others.
