Undergraduate Surgery

This book describes the common diseases are dealt with exhaustively and less important areas for undergraduate students are either omitted or just touched upon. Emphasis has been laid on the surgical anatomy and physiology of the organs as far as practicable so the Pathology, clinical features and treatment or the diseases may be easily followed. The embryology is also discussed when congenital abnormalities are described. Chapters on instruments, splints and bandaging are incorporated with a view to making the students conversant with the practical aspects of the subject. The more common operations are described in the text or under the chapter on instruments.
