The book describes aspects of the working of the parliamentary system of the country. Over 50 years of age, the system has experiences several jolts and jerks, but, by and large, has stood the test of time, being the only form of government which can endeavour to fulfil the aspirations of the people. The author has tried to scan certain fundamentals and has, in fact, questioned certain aspects of the working of the Parliament which do not bear upright acceptance.
