Studies In Art History Of India

The present work is a collection of the essays on art history of India by Prof. Raju Kalidos written during the past twenty-five years of his academic research. The articles concentrate on heritage, changing cultural values, art in architecture, the temple cars, sculptures, historical setting of caste and communalism and the interaction of Prof. Kalidos with the contemporary trend in traditional and modern art. Few of the articles show his reaction to comments on papers that appeared in international journals.
