Human Development : dimensions And Strategies

Human development is a relative concept and it needs to be understood from an interdisciplinary perspective. It includes widening of choices, expansion of freedom and fulfillment of human rights. The human development index (HDI) in the UNDP’s Human Development Report (HDR) considers literacy rate, life expectancy at birth along with GDP per head for the purpose.
