In the academic genre of today, the students are forced to concrete on their studies whereas the parents are not engaging their kids much in the extracurricular activities. This is due to the reason that the parents believe that extracurricular activities would distract the students from their studies and it will not help them in their career.
Is that True?
Obviously that is not true. In this modern world one can’t depend only on curriculum. It is not the only way of growth and achieving success. There are number of extracurricular activities which helps the students a lot to improve their skills.
There are so many extracurricular activities especially games like foot ball, volley ball, cricket, tennis, chess, and other sports, dance, drama, debate etc. These activities are developing many skills in students which can’t be learned practically from blackboards. The sports help them to know virtually about teamwork.
These activities make them to discover various interests that they have apart from the classes. And this will lead into a positive impact on their studies. These activities make the students to learn about team work, time management, goal setting, responsibility, self confidence.
Once the students start to develop their self esteem then they will achieve successes in their life.
