When we hear the term physical education the first thing that comes to our mind is having a physical training to keep our body and soul active. It is an educational course that stimulates the relationship between cognitive functions and physical movement. It has been practiced in schools and colleges in order make the students energetic. Procedures of physical education vary according to the continents.

Physical education helps you develop the psychomotor skills by means of physical efforts. Many new sports and games have been introduced to develop the good physical activity habits, reduce stress and to provide psychological benefits. Almost all the schools have physical education classes as they have understood its importance. It is necessary in schools so as to enable the students to be more active.

By doing physical activity students can gain long term health benefits, get stronger muscles, can increase their memory power, maintain a healthy lifestyle, realize their desired sports, motivate themselves and increase their participation. Cooperative behavior can be developed and reinforced by the physical education program. Main objectives of physical training are physical, social, emotional and mental development.

Friendliness, cooperation, respect for others rights, sports ownership and honesty in group competition are the social traits that are developed when students undergo physical activity. You can also improve self confidence, self control, self reliance, courage and determination. This not only helps them now but also will guide them throughout their lifetime. Recent research has proved that academic performance of the students has increased due to higher concentration levels.

Keep yourself involved in the physical education so as to live a long and healthy life. There are many things that keeps you idle so don’t avoid PT classes and spoil your health. If you actively participate in physical education training then there is no need for you to seek gym, doctors and tablets in the future. If you keep your body under your control then you never need to get worried about your body conditions.
