The Instititute is situated in the State Capital of Bhubaneswar near Lingaraj Temple Road Railway Station, 2 K.M. from Lingaraj Temple amd is connected with frequent local Train services. The aim of the Institute is to impart Technical Training to the educated unemployed youths in NCVT approved ITI courses to make them suitable for industrial employment in Orissa and graingful self employment. The Institute has its own building, workshop equipped with all type machinary,tools, etc. (as per NCVT norms) and a full fledged Technical Library.
