Nayana Apte is an Indian singer-actress who worked in Marathi, Hindi & Gujarati Movies and stage plays. She was born on Feb 22, 1950 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She got education of Natya Sangeet from Govindrao Patwardhan, Anna Pendharkar, Narayan Bodas and at times consulted and helped by Arvind Pilgaonkar. She completed her B.A. with Literature (Sangeet Visharat in Classical Music). Naina Apte in her acting career has worked in films, television serials and also done various stage plays that too in Marathi and Gujarati. She have stage experience from the age of 4 while working as a Child Artist in Marathi and Gujarati plays. She started her acting career Professionally from the year 1965 and till she is active through various television serials, plays and films. In her film media she have done 25 Marathi Movies, 4 Hindi Movies and 6 Gujarati Movies. In 2014, She received the Padma Shri Award.
