Stanislav Konstantinovich Smirnov (born 3 September 1970) is a Russian mathematician currently working at the University of Geneva, who was awarded the Fields Medal in 2010 for the proof of conformal invariance of percolation and the planar Ising model in statistical physics.His research focuses on the fields of complex analysis, dynamical systems and probability theory.
