Anthony Rex Hunter (born 23 August 1943) is a British-American biologist who is a Professor of Biology at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and the University of California, San Diego. His research publications list his name as Tony Hunter.He received 2014 BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in the Biomedicine category for “carving out the path that led to the development of a new class of successful cancer drugs.”
