Sudha Singh is an Indian athlete in the 3000 metres steeplechase event and is a former national record holder. She was born on 25 June 1986 in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, India. She broke her own record in steeplechase and was qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics. She missed the Olympic qualification mark in Shanghai Diamond League and later she showed good performance to earn her Olympic B grade. However she finished up in 13th place in the Olympics and did not qualify for the finals. She got second place in the Asian Championship in Guangzhou in China in the year 2009, 5th place in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi held in 2011 and first place in the Asian Games in 2010 held at Guangzhou in China. She got second place in the Asian Championships held at Kobe in Japan in 2011 and 21st place in the 2012 London Olympics. In 2012, She received the Arjuna Award.
