"The supreme asset of any institute is it’s people – the students, the faculty, the administration and you, the Alumnus. A good institute can measure its worth by its alumni. We are proud that our Alumnus are performing extremely well at various places and positions all over the globe. We have planned a Grand Alumni Meet on October 22, 2011 at Shahu Senate Hall of Shivaji University, Kolhapur from 10 am onwards to commemorate yet another milestone in the annals of the Shivaji University journey, the Golden Jubilee year of its inception. On this occasion, it is enviable to reinforce our network to reach all the alumni for this very unforgettable lifetime Association.This warm gathering in the cold season of this year is covered with new colors in its
feather. It is going to bring together a wealth of talented and capable professionals who is going to share their expertise and experience, and brainstorm on the prospective avenues. I hope many of you after this reunion here will form new friendships, will create new networking opportunities and also rejoice your student days’ memories. The main agenda set for this Alumni Meet is to perceive your ideas, suggestions and involvement in the forthcoming Golden Jubilee Celebrations of your Alma matter.As the countdown to the grand meet has begun, it is necessary to reach all the Alumni and ensure their presence for the grand Meet. The most important task is to compile the Alumni Database.
