About KENNEDY GIRLS TRAVELING BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (KGTBA)

Kennedy Girls Traveling Basketball (Bloomington) is seeking a dedicated paid coach for our 6th grade B/C team. Salary will be dependent on experience and level of experience.Knowledge of general basketball rules with a VERY strong emphasis on fundamentals Strong communication skills and the ability to connect and motivate young girls Have a passion to see kids develop and grow in the game of basketball and as teammates.
Concussion Training, First Aid Training and Positive Coaching Alliance Training will be provided through Trusted Coaches. A background check is also conducted.The parent representative is responsible to assist team coaches in communicating issues and schedule changes to parents and ensure all parents sign up to work the annual tournament(s) as well as any additional fund raisers. The parent Rep becomes part of the “tournament committee” as the annual tournament(s) approaches and must attend all related committee meetings. The parent representative may also represent parent and player issues at board meetings if the parent/player is unable to attend. Coordinate team photo.As we approach the 2015/2016 basketball season we look to sponsors to play an important role in the growing success of our program. It is the objective of our board to keep our player enrollment fees low. In our experience, money is the number one deterrent in keeping East Bloomington girls from participating in team sports. We are on a mission to increase participation amongst our young female athletes while providing a quality program with quality coaches and quality facilities. Your donation will allow us to serve these young athletes.
Sponsorship dollars will go toward helping cover the general operating expenses of KGTBA like gym rental, insurance, taxes and so on. To cover this operating expense we would need to increase our player dues by $75 (125% Increase) per player. While families already struggle to pay for the current dues an increase would burden them further and lead to a decline in participation.I genuinely hope your business is able to help our players by providing the financial support needed for a fun, educational and successful season.
