About Japan Student Association (JSA)

Japan Student Association (JSA) is an organization that promotes and enhances better understanding of Japanese culture and tradition inside and outside the University of Minnesota community. We host several events every semester to reach out to the community and introduce some of our food and culture.

Our activities are always planned to achieve one goal: that students and non-students from different cultural backgrounds will be able to know each other and share their cultures through a common interest in Japan. JSA aims to enhance the University of Minnesota community by introducing students to Japanese culture traditions that are somewhat difficult to experience outside of Japan.
