About FURTHER EDUCATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION
Established On : 1980
FERA was formed around 1980 to promote good practice in the Further Education sector and related fields such as Adult and Community Education. Initially we organised annual conferences with speakers representing both policy and research. For 8 years or so we have constituted the Editorial Board for the highly succesful journal Research in Post-Compulsory Education. FERA is both independent and non-profit making and is run by a voluntary committee
