About African Students Association

Established On : 1996

The African Students Association was founded in 1996 to create a comfortable space for people interested in issues concerning Africa and for those who want to learn more about the continent. It is also a cultural group that portrays Africa through its diversity and provides members with the support to thrive at the University of Michigan and beyond. The association also provides members with opportunities where they can get involved in the greater university as well as the greater Ann Arbor community.
