Aspire Academy

About Institution

The Aspire Academy was established by an Emiri Decree, No. 16 of 2004, as an independent government-funded agency that reported directly to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani through HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.

At the time, Aspire Academy was mandated to “provide sports training and education to students with sporting potential, in an exceptional learning and sporting environment, in order to have athletes that are well trained on the educational, practical and academic levels in the various sports fields to meet the needs of the Qatari society and realize its aspirations in regional and international sports competitions”.Aspire Academy is a globally recognised national sports academy for the development of Qatar’s athletically talented boys. The internationally renowned sports programs and facilities are a symbol of Qatar’s sporting ambitions and pride.

Aspire Academy provides integrated sports development, sports science and academic learning for scholarship boys from Grade 7 (12 - 13 years) to Grade 12 (17 - 18 years). Additionally, Aspire delivers an ambitious health and lifestyle program for the community delivering over 25,000 classes per annum.
