Water is the elixir of life and life isn't possible without it. Water covers 71% of our earth . 96.5%  of earth water is found in oceans and seas, 1.7%  is present as ground water, another 1.7% as ground water  0.001% as vapor and clouds . 2.5% of this water is freshwater and  only 1% of earth fresh water can be used by people. The pure water has no color or odor .  

Water plays a vital role in all forms of life as population explodes the need of fresh water increases day by day . The main source of fresh water are rain, river, lakes ,pond etc. Due to industrial and green revolution the water is polluted by industrial waste and chemicals more over all the lakes , rivers ,ocean and seas are polluted by our life style. 

The safe drinking water is increasingly and slowly becoming a dream for low income people as corporate enters and started making water as a successful business, adding to all faults the global warming and climate change is increasing steeply  and what are we going do now for future generation? Save Water.

It is very much essential that we use every single drop of water effectively .In home and man made structure there must a rain water harvesting set up to harvest priceless rain water. Strict laws should be passed against the industries that pollute water streams and rivers. the industrial wastes should be recycled and detoxicated. 

Every year more children are losing their life due to water related diseases than any other reason and so it's very much essential to use boiled or purified water for drinking . It is our duty keep water bodies clean and to conserve water for future generation.

World Water Day 2016

The World Water Day is observed by UN on  March 22nd of every year and  World Water Day 2016 is celebrated with the theme Better Water, Better Jobs. The World Water Day 2016 is observed all over world to create an opportunity to learn more about water related issues, be inspired to tell others and take action to make a difference.
