Al-Ameen Polytechnic College, Erode was started in December 1984 under the auspices of the Al-Ameen Educational and Charitable Trust, Erode which is a public Charitable Society formed by the magnificence of Muslim philanthropists of Erode. Erode is the head quarters of Erode District and is a business centre and a known place throughout the world for its Exports of Various Commodities. To cater the needs of public and private sector Industrialization, the trust with high magnanimity has started this polytechnic to produce large number of Technically well qualified outputs. The college is best known for its technical excellence, targeted results and abiding students.
