AF School 3 BRD was established in 1979 as a primary school and was functioning from permanent school building located in Sector-31 D, Chandigarh. The school was gradually upgraded to Secondary level in 1998 getting CBSE affiliation in 1997. The school is presently functioning from re-appropriated building (Y-Block) in side 3 BRD, Air Force Chandigarh. A case for construction of permanent school building in Sector-31B, Chandigarh is pending with UT.
